Managing director Amy Lewis can now reveal the winning entry…

Congratulations to Conwy County Borough Council!

We’re delighted to announce that Conwy County Borough Council are the winners of a free technology enabled care (TEC) assessment project, selected at random from the applicants who took part at the recent National Social Care Conference at Venue Cymru in Llandudno.

Thank you to all the councils who entered – it was great to see such keen interest in understanding how sensor technology can evidence care and support needs; helping social workers to make informed, confident care decisions that improve outcomes for the people they support. As a Founding Partner of the NSCC Network, Just Checking is proud to be playing a role in shaping the future of adult social care in Wales.

As part of this TEC assessment project, Conwy County Borough Council will receive up to £15,000 of free assessments, that includes:

  • Engagement support for all stakeholders, with bespoke communications explaining the TEC assessment process (incl. Easy Reads)
  • Lease of the latest discreet advanced sensor technologies and bespoke devices, providing insights into an individual’s daily activity, behaviour, health and support needs
  • Project management support throughout the four week assessment period
  • Personalised data summary reports, by expert data analysts with next steps TEC recommendations highlighting where technology can enable greater independence moving forwards

We’re very much looking forward to working with Conwy County Borough Council on this assessment project and supporting their continued progress in using technology to deliver person-led, sustainable care.
