Claire has been in post since March 2012, having started in Social Care 30 years ago as a Support Worker. 

Having qualified as a Social Worker in 1998, Claire has undertaken numerous roles within Conwy working initially as a Social Worker in Learning Disability Services before transferring to manage the Children with Disabilities Team. 

In her current role, Claire has the lead for the Department’s Integrated Community and Preventative Services and as a result, her portfolio covers Business and Transformation, Older People and life span, Community Wellbeing and Disability Services. She also has responsibility for the Social Services Commissioning provision and Quality Assurance and leads on the departments Capital Programme.
